The DBSL would like to congratulate Robert Moynihan, of Transport Club, on winning the forth DBSL Handicap Series event of the 25/26 Season. The event was held in Roadstone Snooker Club today. Robert impressively, made his second consecutive final where he faced Kevin O’Brien of Pioneers Blue.

Robert started off a great run by beating fellow team mate John Maher 2-0 in the last 16 before beating Peter Conroy 2-1 in the Quarter Final. Robert then progressed to the Semi Final where he beat Ivor Fitzpatrick 2-1 before moving on to the final to beat Kevin O’Brien 2-1.

On the other side of the draw, Kevin beat Tommy Murphy 2-1 in the last 16 and Brian O’Rourke 2-0 in the Quarter Final. Kevin then went on to beat a tough Jack Sheridan 2-1 in a close fought Semi Final.

DBSL would like to thank Tournament Director Stephen Merrigan, and the Roadstone Snooker Club for their fine hospitality throughout the day.

Robert Moynihan got the highest break of the day, 54.

Congratulations to Michael Judge (Roadstone A) who made a 108 break in his league match this week against Lorcan Ryan (Glenalbyn Blue).

The DBSL would like to congratulate James Stewart O’Reilly, of Pioneers Pink, on winning the third DBSL Handicap Series event of the 25/26 Season. The event was held in Pioneers Snooker Club today. James, an up and coming young talent of Pioneers Pink, beat Robert Moynihan 2-1 in the final.

James had a great run to his first DBSL Final, taking a 2-1 win over Kristian Hayes in the pre lim round, and a 2-0 win over Dean Murray, in the last 16. James then progressed to the Quarter Final where he beat Aidan Phelan 2-0 before beating Padraig Quinlan 2-0 in the Semi Final.

On the other side of the draw, Robert had a tough run to the final, starting off with a close 2-1 win over Ray Kearns, in the pre lim round, before moving on to the last 16, were he beat fellow team mate John Maher 2-0. Robert then went on to beat last events winner Clayton Cregan 2-0, in the Quarter Final, and Daniel Brcko, of Pioneers Pink, 2-1 in the Semi Final.

DBSL would like to thank Tournament Director Niall Lawless, and the Pioneers Snooker Club for their fine hospitality throughout the day.

The DBSL would like to congratulate Clayton Cregan, of Pioneers Blue, on winning the second DBSL Handicap Series event of the 25/26 Season. The event was held in Roadstone Snooker Club today. Clayton beat fellow Finglas native Jack Sheridan, of Pioneers White, 2-1 in the final.

Clayton had a great run to the final, not dropping a single frame en route. He started off with a 2-0 win over the new comer Ella O’Connor, in the pre lim round, before moving on the the last 16, were he bet Glenalbyn’s Niall Kelly 2-0. Clayton then went on to beat fellow team mate Kevin O’Brien 2-0, in the Quarter Final, and Robert Moynihan, of Transport Club, 2-0 in the Semi Final.

On the other side of the draw, Jack had a great run to his second consecutive Final, taking a 2-1 win over Dean Murray in the last 16, and a 2-1 win over Ivor Fitzpatrick, in the Quarter Final, both also from Pioneers. Jack then progressed to the Semi Final where he had a close 2-1 win over his team mate, Kristian Hayes.
