The 2nd Over 35's tournament of 2011-2012 was played in Willows Snooker Club on 24th March 2012. The competition was handicapped with Premier League players off scratch, Division 1 off +12 and Division 2 off +20. Peter Murphy (Willows 'A') won his first Over 35's tournament beating Brendan Thomas (Roadstone 'B') 3-1 in the final.

Peter had earlier beaten Robert Garvey (Roadstone 'C') 3-0 in the quarter-final and number 1 seed Stephen Merrigan (Roadstone 'A') 3-0 in the semi-final. Brendan made the final by first defeating Alan Cullen (Willows 'B') 3-1 in the last 16, Mark Farrell (Willows 'A') 3-1 in the quarter-final and then number 2 seed Richard Hayes (Howth CYMS) 3-1 in the semi-final. Brendan Thomas made the highest break, a 66 in his quarter-final against Mark Farrell.
